Don’t miss the boat! Join us!

YOU ARE INVITED!

Join us for the christening ceremony of Coosa Riverkeeper’s newest patrol vessel, Laura Moore II, on June 6th at 6:30 PM at Back Forty Beer Co. in Gadsden! Live music will be provided by Bernie Worrell Orchestra, food will be available from Soulswine Catering Co, and delicious beer from Back Forty Beer Co (brewed with water from the Coosa)!

Laura Moore II

The Laura Moore II has 5 times the seating capacity of our old patrol boat, The Olive, which will improve our ability to conduct on-the-water research and education throughout the Coosa Valley of Alabama. Thanks to the Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham for their support in acquiring this new equipment for the Riverkeeper Patrol Program!

Wanna show your love for the Coosa AND see your company’s logo on our truck/boat?       Please contact our office for sponsorship information at 205-981-6565 or [email protected]!
