Fishing

There's plenty of good fishing on the Coosa. In fact, it's quite a big draw to this river. Even Bassmasters comes by a good bit. From crappie on Weiss Lake, bass on Logan Martin and Lay Lake, plenty of different opportunities for fishing are available to those with boats. And for those without boats, the best place to fish is usually right below a dam, where Alabama Power allows fisherman to park and fish from the banks. Be careful and mind fish consumption advisories.
